Every account is just a number and a password. Frisyn doesn't ask who you are, so there's nothing about you to leak.
What Frisyn asks for, and what it does with it

- Checked once, at sign-up, so one device can open one account. After that, logging in works from any device, like any other app.
- Recovery code
- A 12-character code, shown once when you sign up. It's the way back in if you lose your password. Each use issues a new code.
- Audit logs
- Kept in a separate, isolated project from the rest of the app.
The anonymous sign-up system behind this is open source: anonymous-device-auth on GitHub. The published version is the reference implementation. What runs in production has its own security rules and performance tuning on top.
Questions people ask
Is Frisyn really anonymous?
Yes. We don't collect your name, email or phone number at any point. Your account is identified only by a number.
What happens if I lose my recovery code?
As long as you have your password, you can keep logging in as normal. The recovery code is the backup way in. If you lose both, the account can't be recovered, because there's no email or phone number to send a reset to.
Where can I download Frisyn?
Frisyn is free on Google Play for Android. There is no iOS version yet.
Is my data safe?
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, never stored as plain text. The device check at sign-up uses a hashed fingerprint, not anything that identifies you. Audit logs are kept in a separate, isolated project from the rest of the app.
Can I use Frisyn on more than one device?
Yes. Logging in works like any other app, on any device. The one device check happens at sign-up, so a single device can't open several accounts.
