These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Frisyn (the "App"), an anonymous social app operated by an individual developer ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using Frisyn, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
By downloading, installing, or using Frisyn, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Frisyn. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to hold an account, and we may remove any account we believe belongs to a minor.
Frisyn is meant to be a safe space for honest, emotional expression. To keep it that way, you agree to use the App respectfully and lawfully. Specifically, you agree not to:

Because Frisyn is built around anonymity, revealing someone's real-world identity is treated as a serious violation, not just another line on a list. You may not post, share, or otherwise reveal another person's personally identifying information without their explicit consent, including but not limited to:
This applies whether the person is a fellow Frisyn user, someone mentioned in a post, or anyone else — consent is what matters, not who's involved.
We'd also encourage you not to reveal your own identifying information in your posts, comments, or messages. Frisyn is designed so that we can't identify you — but that protection only covers what our systems collect. If you choose to share your own name, contact details, photo, or location in your content, that information becomes visible to whoever reads it, and we have no way to undo or protect information you've chosen to expose yourself.
Content that reveals someone else's identifying information without consent will be removed, and the responsible account may be suspended or permanently banned. If you see this happening, use the Report button on the post, comment, or message and select "Revealing personal identity" — we review these reports directly.
Anonymity is not immunity. Frisyn doesn't ask for your name, but every account, post, and message is still tied to a specific account (and, at the technical level, a specific device). If you violate these Terms, we can and will take action against the responsible account — including content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban — even though we don't know who you are personally.
Where legally required — for example, in response to a valid court order relating to serious illegal conduct — we may be compelled to disclose whatever limited technical information we hold (such as hashed identifiers or temporarily-retained IP logs, as described in our Privacy Policy) to law enforcement. Because we intentionally collect very little, there is often very little we're able to provide — but you should not assume anonymity means consequence-free behavior.

We aim to moderate fairly, but given the anonymous, high-volume nature of user-generated content, we don't guarantee that every piece of violating content will be caught, or caught immediately. Use the in-app Report button if you see something that violates these Terms.
You retain ownership of the content you post (text, messages, reactions). By posting on Frisyn, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the App as necessary to operate the service (for example, showing your post in other users' feeds). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has already been shared with other users as part of normal App functionality (e.g. comments/reactions others made in response, or content already viewed).
You're solely responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
You may stop using Frisyn and delete your account at any time, entirely on your own, via Profile → Delete Account. You'll be asked to re-enter your password to confirm — this protects you in case someone else gets hold of your unlocked device, since your account can't be deleted without your password. No email or support contact is required; deletion is fully self-service.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your account, account number, auth record (freeing your device to create a new account later), profile, your posts (and any comments others left on them), your own comments and replies, and your direct-message conversations — including for the other participant, meaning a deleted conversation disappears from both sides, not just yours.
Reactions you left on other users' content are not individually removed; they remain only as anonymous aggregate counts. Replies other users left under your comments may remain in our systems but are no longer shown once the parent comment is gone. Full detail on both of these, and on audit/security log retention, is in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, harms other users, harms us, or exposes us to legal liability, or for any other reason at our discretion.
Frisyn is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free.
Frisyn is not a substitute for professional mental health support, therapy, or crisis services. If you're in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a local emergency service or mental health helpline.
We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for user-generated content. Views expressed by users are their own.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will we (including the individual developer operating Frisyn) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will not exceed the amount you paid us to use the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (which, since Frisyn currently charges nothing, is zero).
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Frisyn from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We may update these Terms from time to time as Frisyn evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
